CollegeSimply analyzed the most recent published freshman class ACT scores for all Southern colleges and found 274 schools where a 18 places you within or slightly outside the middle fifty percent of admitted students. The colleges are ranked by their position on our best colleges ranking and thus represent the better schools you may be able to get into and those which have historically accepted a 18.

Is a 18 on the ACT a good score? You can probably do better. It places you in the bottom 38th percentile nationally out of the 2 million students taking the ACT this year.
