Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), a public institution located in Fort Myers, Florida, offers an array of undergraduate and graduate programs with a focus on environmental sustainability, health professions, engineering, and business. FGCU, founded in 1991 and opened in 1997, is set on a 760-acre campus featuring postmodern architecture and a system of lakes and wetlands.
