Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) offers a unique blend of Indiana University and Purdue University academics and resources in an urban setting. Located in Indiana's capital, the campus is situated within walking distance to downtown Indianapolis, providing a multitude of cultural and professional opportunities for students. Established in 1969, IUPUI enrolls over 30,000 students and offers more than 450 undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs through 17 different schools, demonstrating a broad academic profile with notable programs in public health, business, and law. While the university maintains an inclusive admissions policy, it does uphold a competitive selection process. The campus architecture harmonizes modern facilities with green spaces, and on-campus student housing is available, though not required. IUPUI competes in NCAA Division I athletics as the Jaguars, with particular recognition in swimming and diving.
