Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU), located in the small city of Marion, approximately 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana, is a private, evangelical Christian liberal arts university. Established in 1920 as Marion College, it adopted its current name in 1988 as part of its transformation into a comprehensive university. IWU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, with a strong emphasis on liberal arts and professional education. The university is known for its popular majors in Nursing, Education, Business, and Theology/Ministerial Studies. Featuring a moderately selective admissions process, IWU attracts students seeking a faith-integrated curriculum within a close-knit campus environment. Occupying over 350 acres, the campus is characterized by a blend of modern and traditional architecture, with facilities that support both academic and spiritual life, including the 3,800-seat Chapel Auditorium.
