Overview

St. Petersburg College (SPC), established in 1927, is a public college located in Largo, Florida, within close proximity to the urban center of St. Petersburg and the vibrant metropolitan area of Tampa Bay. Known for embracing a community-focused approach, the college operates multiple campuses and sites across Pinellas County. The main campus in Largo offers a diverse academic portfolio with popular programs in health sciences, business, education, information technology, and public safety. SPC provides a predominantly suburban setting with facilities designed to support both academic and professional development. While St. Petersburg College is primarily a commuter school, it does feature residence halls available at the Clearwater Campus, which contributes to its overall accessibility for a diverse student population. St Petersburg College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  7,284 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 16,217 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,943 plus fees of $739.
