The University of North Texas, located in Denton, Texas, approximately 40 miles northwest of Dallas and Fort Worth, is a comprehensive public research university established in 1890. It boasts a diverse campus landscape that includes notable elements of Art Deco architecture. With a broad array of undergraduate and graduate programs, the institution is particularly recognized for its College of Music, which is one of the largest and most respected music schools in the world. UNT maintains a moderately selective admissions process and offers on-campus housing options for students, facilitating an environment conducive to academic and personal growth. While the school has a variety of academic offerings, popular majors among students include Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies; Visual and Performing Arts; and Journalism.
