Alabama State University (ASU), established in 1867, is a public historically black university located in Montgomery, Alabama. Situated just a short drive from the state capital's downtown core, ASU offers a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, with notable emphasis in education, business, and the sciences.
