Troy University, located in Troy, Alabama, offers a blend of traditional higher education and innovative learning experiences within a historic Southern setting. Founded in 1887, the university has since expanded to include a network of campuses throughout the state and even internationally. Its main campus in Troy is situated approximately 50 miles south of Montgomery, Alabama's state capital.
