Molloy College

Overview

Established in 1955 by the Sisters of Saint Dominic, Molloy College is a private Roman Catholic institution located in Rockville Centre, New York, approximately 20 miles east of New York City. Offering a suburban campus environment, the college comprises both traditional and modern architectural styles with facilities designed for an immersive educational experience. Nearly 5,000 students are enrolled in a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs with a foundational liberal arts curriculum. Noted for its strong programs in nursing, business, education, and social work, Molloy fosters academic development with a moderately selective admissions process. Residential options are available with on-campus housing to complement the academic experience. Molloy College's affiliation with NCAA Division II athletics includes teams known as the Lions, contributing to the school's energy in a selection of sports, although athletics is not the primary focus of the institution.

In the most recent statistical year 5,412 prospective students applied, and 4,147 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 642 enrolled in the school.  2,930 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,877 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $34,550 plus fees of $1,480.
