Farmingdale State College, part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is a public technology college located in Farmingdale, New York, on Long Island. Situated approximately 37 miles east of New York City, the campus offers a suburban atmosphere that melds historical charm with modern facilities, including its notable Solar Energy Center. Founded in 1912, the institution has grown into an educational hub that serves over 9,000 students with a variety of undergraduate degree programs.
