Hofstra University, located in Hempstead, New York, offers students a suburban campus environment within easy reach of New York City's vast cultural and professional opportunities. Established in 1935, Hofstra has evolved into a comprehensive institution that offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Notably, the university hosts the only law and medical schools on Long Island. Academically, Hofstra is recognized for its strong programs in communications, business, and health sciences.
