St John's College

Overview

St. John's College, located in Annapolis, Maryland, is notable for its distinctive liberal arts curriculum inspired by the Great Books program and its emphatic focus on philosophy and the history of math and science. Founded in 1696, the college is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the United States. In the most recent statistical year 982 prospective students applied, and 490 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 130 enrolled in the school.  506 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 35 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $36,040 plus fees of $1,220.
