Widener University-Main Campus, established in 1821, is a private, coeducational university located in Chester, Pennsylvania, a city with close proximity to Philadelphia. The university's campus presents a blend of historic and modern architecture and offers on-campus housing options to students. With a moderately selective admissions process, Widener provides a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, and is particularly recognized for its engineering and nursing majors.
