Penn State Brandywine, located in Media, Pennsylvania, is a suburban campus within close proximity to Philadelphia. Established in 1967, this undergraduate institution is one of the Commonwealth Campuses of Pennsylvania State University. The campus provides a diverse array of bachelor's and associate degree programs, with particularly popular majors including business, human development and family studies, psychology, and information sciences and technology. Penn State Brandywine accommodates students in on-campus housing options which commenced availability in Fall 2017, providing residential facilities to enhance the college experience. While the college maintains a moderately selective admissions process, it is dedicated to providing an accessible education to a wide range of students. Not primarily known for its athletic prowess, the university boasts the Penn State Nittany Lions as its athletic moniker, with sports teams competing in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
