Overview

Arcadia University, established in 1853, is a private institution nested on a picturesque 76-acre campus in Glenside, Pennsylvania, less than 25 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. Renowned for its distinctive grey stone Castle, which is a National Historic Landmark, the campus offers a blend of historic Victorian architecture and modern facilities. Arcadia enrolls students in a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, with a focus on global learning and study abroad opportunities. The university is characterized by a moderately selective admissions process. Popular majors include Business, Health Professions, and Social Sciences, among others. In the most recent statistical year 6,321 prospective students applied, and 4,903 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 489 enrolled in the school.  2,175 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 851 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $46,430 plus fees of $700.
