St. Lawrence University, founded in 1856 and located in the rural village of Canton, New York, is a private liberal arts institution that offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs. The campus architecture is predominantly Collegiate Gothic, harmoniously blending with the surrounding natural landscapes. Its proximity to the Adirondack Mountains allows unique field-based study opportunities that complement its environmental studies and outdoor leadership programs, which are among the most renowned.
