Founded in 1942 and located in the suburban town of Fairfield, Connecticut, Fairfield University is a private Jesuit institution that offers an array of undergraduate and graduate programs. Situated on a picturesque 200-acre campus characterized by its collegiate gothic architecture, the university blends suburban tranquility with proximity to the vibrant cultural and business hubs of New York City, approximately 50 miles away. Fairfield provides a diverse academic environment with a liberal arts focus and is particularly known for its programs in nursing and business.
