Bryant University, located in Smithfield, Rhode Island, was founded in 1863 and stands approximately 12 miles northwest of Providence. This private institution occupies a suburban campus that spans 435 acres, featuring the notable design of the George E. Bello Center for Information and Technology. Offering a blend of business, arts, and sciences programs, Bryant is particularly recognized for its College of Business and its focus on international studies. The university has a moderately selective admissions process and emphasizes a curriculum that integrates business with the liberal arts.
