Simmons University, founded in 1899, is a private women-focused undergraduate university with coeducational graduate programs located in Boston, Massachusetts. Situated in the Fenway neighborhood, the university offers a campus that blends urban living with a small-college atmosphere, characterized by traditional brick architecture and a compact, accessible layout. Simmons is known for its robust nursing and social work programs, among other health sciences, and it also provides strong offerings in business and communications.
