Lenoir-Rhyne University, founded in 1891, is a private liberal arts university situated in Hickory, North Carolina, approximately an hour northwest of Charlotte. The institution retains a Lutheran heritage and offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable emphasis on nursing, business, and education.
