The College of Wooster, located in Wooster, Ohio, is a private liberal arts college founded in 1866. Characterized by a suburban setting roughly 55 miles southwest of Cleveland, the institution offers students a picturesque campus distinguished by its Gothic architecture. The College of Wooster is recognized for its Independent Study program whereby all students complete a significant research project or thesis before graduation, reflecting its strong emphasis on mentored undergraduate research.
