University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) is a public institution located in Duluth, Minnesota, offering scenic views of Lake Superior and a campus characterized by a mix of modern and traditional architecture. Established in 1947, UMD emphasizes a comprehensive educational experience through a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable strengths in environmental science and civil engineering.
