Susquehanna University, established in 1858 and nestled in the borough of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, is a private liberal arts college. Approximately 50 miles north of the state capital, Harrisburg, the university boasts a picturesque 325-acre campus bordering the Susquehanna River, characterized by Georgian architecture. Susquehanna University offers a comprehensive range of majors, with a focus on the liberal arts and sciences, and is particularly noted for its writing program and business school. Housing is provided on campus, with a variety of living options including traditional residence halls, suites, and townhouses designed to accommodate its undergraduate population. Offering a breadth of extracurricular activities, the university has a moderately selective admissions process. Notably, Susquehanna maintains a Division III athletics program, competing as the River Hawks across a wide range of sports.
