Penn State Beaver, located in Monaca, Pennsylvania, is a commonwealth campus of the Pennsylvania State University system, positioned approximately 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Established in 1965, the campus rests on 105 acres of scenic land and offers an intimate, pedestrian-friendly environment. Academically, Penn State Beaver provides a range of bachelor's and associate degree programs, with business, administration of justice, and communications being particularly well-subscribed by the student body. The college fosters an open admissions policy, generally known for being less selective, thus attracting a diverse range of applicants.
