Oral Roberts University (ORU), founded by evangelist Oral Roberts in 1963, is a private, interdenominational Christian university located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The campus features a distinctive futuristic architectural style, with the Prayer Tower standing at its heart. ORU offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, with particular emphasis on theology, business, and health-related fields. The university has a moderately selective application process, aiming to admit students who will contribute to its vibrant spiritual life and academic rigor. On-campus living is required for unmarried undergraduate students under the age of 25, which supports its community-centric approach to student life.
