The University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP), situated in the small town of Pembroke, North Carolina, has a history deeply interwoven with the Lumbee Tribe and was established as a normal school for the education of American Indians in 1887. Today, it offers a broad academic portfolio across various disciplines including its notable programs in Business Administration, Education, and Nursing. UNCP's campus features a blend of modern and traditional architectures, fostering a vibrant environment that extends to the town's rich cultural heritage.
