The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, located in Galloway, is a public institution established in 1969 and set on a sprawling 1,600-acre campus in the Pinelands National Reserve. Approximately 12 miles northwest of Atlantic City, Stockton College offers a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate programs, including notable degrees in environmental science, education, and business. The college fosters an academic environment with a moderately selective admissions process. Its campus features a mix of modern and environmentally integrated architecture, which is reflective of its commitment to ecological sustainability. The college provides residential facilities, with options ranging from traditional dormitories to apartment-style living for its student body. Although not primarily recognized for its athletic programs, Stockton College participates in NCAA Division III sports and the student teams are known as the Ospreys.
