University of Minnesota-Crookston (UMC) is a public, four-year institution located in Crookston, Minnesota, which lies approximately 25 miles southeast of Grand Forks, North Dakota. Established in 1966, UMC occupies a suburban, 108-acre campus, known for its modern facilities and prairie-style architecture. The university offers a range of bachelor's degree programs, with particular emphasis on agriculture, natural resources, and business-related studies.
