Overview

Wheaton College, located in Wheaton, Illinois, is a private liberal arts college with a suburban campus roughly 25 miles west of Chicago. Founded in 1860, it is distinguished for its strong evangelical Christian orientation. Wheaton?s academic profile includes an emphasis on a faith-based education, with popular majors such as business/economics, communication, and the humanities, framed within a Christian worldview. The institution is recognized for its rigorous academics and is considered moderately selective in its admissions process.
