The College of Central Florida, established in 1957 and located in Ocala, Florida, offers students an expansive suburban setting for higher education. Placed centrally between Gainesville and Orlando, this public institution extends its reach with multiple satellite campuses and centers across Marion, Citrus, and Levy counties. College of Central Florida has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  2,251 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3,232 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,987 plus fees of $723.
