Overview

Claremont McKenna College, located in Claremont, California, is a private liberal arts institution that offers a distinctive educational experience through its emphasis on public affairs, economics, and government. Established in 1946 as a men's college and becoming coeducational in 1976, Claremont McKenna is one of the seven Claremont Colleges and situated approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
