Loyola Marymount University (LMU), situated in Los Angeles, California, is a private Jesuit and Marymount research university established in 1911 through the merger of Marymount College and Loyola University. The university's picturesque bluff-top campus overlooks Marina del Rey and Playa Vista, showcasing a blend of modern and Renaissance-inspired architecture. LMU offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, with notable strength in business, law, film and television, and liberal arts. The institution?s academic profile is marked by a moderately selective admissions process.
