California State University-San Bernardino (CSUSB), located in the Inland Empire region, provides a comprehensive university experience within a short distance from Los Angeles and a range of Southern California's geographical attractions. Founded in 1965, CSUSB sits on a 441-acre campus characterized by its contemporary architecture and the scenic backdrop of the San Bernardino Mountains. This public institution offers a diverse array of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable emphasis on business and public administration, social and behavioral sciences, and education. The university has a moderately selective admissions process and provides on-campus housing to foster an inclusive, scholarly environment.
