California State University-Fresno, commonly known as Fresno State, is a public university located in Fresno, California within the fertile San Joaquin Valley. Established in 1911, the university features a suburban campus characterized by its notable Central California-style architecture and the presence of the Craig School of Business' well-regarded modern facilities. Serving a diverse student body, Fresno State offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable strengths in agriculture, business, engineering, and education.
