California State University-Fresno, commonly known as Fresno State, is a public university located in Fresno, California within the fertile San Joaquin Valley. Established in 1911, the university features a suburban campus characterized by its notable Central California-style architecture and the presence of the Craig School of Business' well-regarded modern facilities.
