Ripon College, established in 1851 and nestled in the historic city of Ripon, Wisconsin, delivers a traditional liberal arts and sciences education on its picturesque campus. The institution, though small in scale with a close-knit atmosphere, is located within proximity to the larger metropolitan area of Milwaukee. The campus is characterized by its blend of classic ivy-covered buildings and modern facilities, providing a visually appealing environment for its student body. Ripon College offers a wide array of academic programs, with notable strength in fields such as politics and government, environmental studies, and business management. Selectivity for the college is considered moderately competitive. The majority of students reside in on-campus housing options, which range from traditional dormitories to apartment-style living, promoting a cohesive living and learning community. Since athletics are not a primary focus, Ripon College's team, known as the Red Hawks, competes in the NCAA Division III without particular emphasis on athletic prominence.

In the most recent statistical year 2,142 prospective students applied, and 1,742 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 196 enrolled in the school.  760 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 6 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $49,300 plus fees of $300.
