Brigham Young University-Provo (BYU), located in Provo, Utah, approximately 45 miles south of Salt Lake City, is a private institution established in 1875. It is affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and integrates a religious education into its curriculum. The university fosters a rigorous academic environment with a high degree of application selectivity.
