Houston Baptist University (HBU) is a private Christian university located in Southwest Houston, Texas, offering a suburban campus setting for approximately 2,300 undergraduates and 1,000 graduate students. Founded in 1960, HBU has established a legacy of integrating faith and learning within a liberal arts framework, emphasizing a comprehensive educational experience. The university is home to the Morris Cultural Arts Center, which reflects a prominent Georgian architecture style, and offers on-campus housing for students in its living and learning communities.
