Chestnut Hill College, located in the residential neighborhood of Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, offers a suburban campus environment with Gothic-style architecture and a collegiate experience steeped in history. Founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1924, this private, Catholic institution has evolved from a women's college to a coeducational environment. The college's academic profile comprises undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree programs, with an array of majors in fields ranging from the liberal arts and sciences to professional studies, notably education and psychology. While the college maintains a flexible admissions policy, it is characterized by a selective acceptance rate. On-campus housing is provided, offering a range of living options for students.
