Missouri University of Science and Technology, located in Rolla, Missouri, is a public institution established in 1870 known for its strong emphasis on engineering and the sciences. The university offers a range of bachelor?s, master?s, and doctoral programs, with notable focus areas in engineering, computing, and geosciences. Nestled in the South-Central region of the state, the campus exhibits a mix of modern and historic architecture across a 284-acre campus. Positioned approximately 100 miles southwest of St. Louis, Missouri S&T provides students with a small-town collegiate environment complemented by research facilities and technological resources. The school maintains a selective admission process, with a variety of living options available to students, including traditional residence halls and apartment-style housing. Missouri S&T is also recognized for its specialized academic programs in areas such as ceramic engineering and metallurgy.
