Framingham State University, located in Framingham, Massachusetts, sits 20 miles west of Boston along the technology-rich MetroWest corridor. Originally founded in 1839 as the first public women's teacher preparation school in the United States, FSU has evolved into a comprehensive public university while maintaining its historical focus on education and teaching programs.
