Prince George's Community College (PGCC) is a public institution established in 1958, located in Largo, Maryland, within the Prince George's County and in proximity to the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. The college's campus features a contemporary design with a range of facilities that support academic pursuits and technical training. PGCC offers a diverse selection of associate degree programs, certificate programs, and workforce development courses, with health sciences, business, and information technology among some of the more popular fields of study. The institution is known for its open admissions policy, aiming to provide higher education opportunities to all applicants. While not principally recognized for athletics, PGCC still provides a selection of sports and extracurricular activities to complement its academic offerings. The college primarily serves commuters and does not offer on-campus housing.

Prince George's Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  2,956 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 7,288 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,016 plus fees of $1,178.
