Overview

Saint Ambrose University is a private, Catholic institution located in Davenport, Iowa, part of the larger Quad Cities metropolitan area and approximately 180 miles from Chicago. Founded in 1882 by the Diocese of Davenport, the university presents a liberal arts education integrating both academic and professional development. The campus is characterized by its notable late 19th century architecture, with modern enhancements to support academic pursuits. As a medium-sized institution, Saint Ambrose University offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs, with a particularly strong emphasis on health sciences, business, and education.
