The College of Lake County (CLC) is a public community college located in Grayslake, Illinois, situated roughly 45 miles north of Chicago. Founded in 1969, the college serves a diverse student population and offers associate degrees, certificate programs, and vocational training. Its academic portfolio emphasizes practical education and workforce development in fields such as nursing, engineering, business, and the sciences, with an additional focus on transfer programs for students aiming to continue their education at four-year institutions.
