Overview

Life University, located in Marietta, Georgia, is a private institution famously centered on health sciences, particularly known for its Doctor of Chiropractic degree program, which is reputed as one of the most rigorous and the largest single campus chiropractic program in the world. Founded in 1974, the university sustains a vibrant campus on 110 acres in the suburban outskirts of the Atlanta metropolitan area, providing an accessible setting for students aiming to engage with the city's resources. Campus architecture is contemporary with facilities designed to support its health and wellness ethos, including the Center for Chiropractic Education and the Life University Wellness Center. While the university maintains a holistic and competitive admission process, it is known for being more inclusive relative to other health sciences-focused institutions. On-campus housing is available, accommodating a segment of its diverse student body, which contributes to the immersive academic environment. In the most recent statistical year 448 prospective students applied, and 438 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 168 enrolled in the school.  2,363 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 390 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $12,915 plus fees of $1,491.
