University of Wisconsin-Stout, located in Menomonie, Wisconsin, is a public university established in 1891 and is designated as Wisconsin's Polytechnic University. The campus, situated about 70 miles east of Minneapolis/St. Paul, blends historical buildings with modern facilities, reflecting its status as a career-focused institution with a polytechnic emphasis.
