Alderson Broaddus University, located in Philippi, West Virginia, is a private institution established in 1871, amalgamating the traditions of Alderson Academy and Broaddus Institute. Nestled in the scenic foothills of the Allegheny Mountains, the university presents a rural setting approximately 40 miles south of Morgantown, offering a serene campus atmosphere.
