Overview

Bellevue College, located in Bellevue, Washington, is a public tertiary institution situated just outside the major urban area of Seattle. Established in 1966, the college operates as the third-largest institution of higher learning in the state, offering associate and bachelor's degree programs across various fields of study, with notable emphasis on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), as well as business and health sciences. Bellevue College maintains an open-door admissions policy, generally characterized by a less selective application process compared to more competitive four-year institutions. The campus features contemporary architectural elements and is set in a suburban environment with access to urban amenities. While Bellevue College primarily serves as a commuter campus, it does provide limited on-campus housing options. The institution is not traditionally recognized for a prominent athletic program; hence, sports do not significantly define the campus experience.

Bellevue College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  5,547 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 5,070 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,928 plus fees of $231.
