Overview

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a public institution founded in 1970, stands in Laredo, Texas, near the border of the United States and Mexico, offering a distinctive cultural setting. The university's campus serves a predominantly regional student population and is noted for its modern architecture that reflects its southwestern location.
