Paul Quinn College, located in southern Dallas, Texas, is a private historically Black liberal arts institution and America's first urban work college. The campus occupies 147 acres of rolling hills approximately 10 miles from downtown Dallas, featuring a mix of modern academic buildings and historic structures dating back to its 1872 founding by African Methodist Episcopal Church leaders in Austin, before relocating to Dallas in 1990. The college operates under a distinctive work college model where all residential students participate in a corporate work program, combining academic studies with professional experience at partner organizations. Academic offerings center on business administration, legal studies, health sciences, and religious studies, with the institution gaining recognition for its "We Over Me Farm," which transformed the former football field into an organic farm addressing local food security issues. Students reside in campus dormitories, and the college maintains membership in the NAIA athletic conference.
