Overview

Blinn College, located in Brenham, Texas, is a public community college that offers a unique blend of traditional and technical education opportunities. Established in 1883, Blinn holds the distinction of being one of the oldest publicly owned colleges in Texas. The Brenham campus, the main hub in a network of campuses, showcases a serene, rural setting approximately 90 miles northwest of Houston. The college's architecture combines modern facilities with historic buildings, providing a comprehensive learning environment across its 62-acre campus. Blinn offers a wide variety of academic programs with a notably robust set of transfer pathways to four-year universities, especially through its recognized partnership with Texas A&M University. Blinn College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  8,779 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 9,130 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,600 plus fees of $2,630.
